Old PVC Rubber Soccer Balls Wanted; Game Used In The 1970s - 1980s
Im looking for thermally molded PVC rubber soccer balls, which had been used in soccer games (and or by local area Schools) in the 1970s, into the 1980s. These old PVC soccer balls are extremely hard to find, so I can use all the help I can get and the reason for the high value price Im willing to buy them for. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, there were two kinds of rubber soccer balls made, PVC and cheap vulcanized rubber. Each passing day,week and month that goes by, makes finding these old PVC soccer balls much harder find, so Im asking for as much help as I can get, in finding a few. Keep reading if interested.

Only want soccer balls made of PVC rubber. PVC is also known as polyvinyl chloride, a type of solid plastic polymer, that when plasticized by the addition of phthalates, becomes a type of soft synthetic leather / vinyl rubber. These soccer balls looked exactly like any ordinary rubber soccer ball, with a few subtle differences.
PVC rubber soccer balls were primarily made in Japan, and used worldwide under familiar brands such as Molten, Mikasa, Mizuno, Asics, SeamCo, and Crown to name a few. PVC soccer balls stopped being made in the early 1980s. If it says made in China, Taiwan, Thailand, or Korea anywhere on the ball, its just an ordinary rubber soccer ball, and not PVC.
Game balls or School balls are primarily what Im looking for. PVC soccer balls were commonly used in AYSO / YMCA soccer games throughout Texas, in the 1970s and 1980s. They were also widely used by Academys, High Schools, Middle schools, Elementary Schools and even Colleges.
PE Teachers, Coaches, School officials, and Athletic directors, are highly encouraged to contact me if you have any old rubber soccer balls in your School(s) that might fit the description of what Im looking for. Its possible to have one or two PVC soccer balls in a box full of old rubber balls, and not know it. Even if they dont hold air or are in very bad shape, I still want them. If you know a coach or PE teacher that still has old soccer balls, have them contact me.
PVC rubber will not have that pungent rubbery odor, which is very common with ordinary, vintage rubber soccer balls.
PVC rubber soccer balls will have a slight cream or butter color hue to the outer carcass, when compared to standard rubber soccer balls
I hope by making this listing, someone in the greater Beaumont region area might be able to help me find a few before they are all discarded.
Offering from $100 up to a maximum of $300, depending on the age of the ball, and amount of game wear. Older, mid 70s game balls are worth between $200 and $300 (even if they are flat or damaged).
