The hull sides have been sanded to clean glass and now has 2 coats of Inerlux PreCoat to the rub rail. Everything above the rub rail and inside has been patched and faired and its close to ready for priming and painting at this time. The bow has been beefed up to sustain the added stress that a Columbia River anchor set up would put on it as well as contain the line and ball to keep it all where it needs to be. (This is ready to glass in but Im not sure I have enough resin to finish if I start and since Im not planning to finish the project, it doesnt make sense to buy more resin.) The transom is new. It was put together with 3 layers of 1/2 Marine grade plywood with a layer of CSM (Cross-Strand-Mat) between each layer. VERY sturdy. The engine had great compression but showed symptoms of a problematic valve in the head so I was planning to have the head redone with new valves and just replace the gaskets, paint everything and put it back together. The engine will come with the stand that its on now and the full gasket kit needed for reassembly as well as a freshly rebuilt carburetor. The outdrive is complete and it shifted and turned before I took it all apart. It will also come with an extra lower unit. original cost $225K. It has a 12.8 foot beam, and is equipped like your home kitchen. Overall length 35 feet 5 inches; Big and wide displacement 13,400 pounds, draft 3 feet. Hull is made of solid FRP laminates.
