Hunt Colorado For Mule Deer Or Elk Hunts
Coming to Colorado for Mule Deer or Elk? Look no further, you have found them. This semi-guided hunt for 2nd, 3rd, 4th seasons along with late cows at the end of November is pure success. The deer in here are local and migrants spilling into the lower sage brush flats from the higher Juniper rim country where the elk stay. We have never had a deer hunter go home with a small buck unless he missed when he shot at the first 4 and in frustration shot a small one at 50 yards in frustration.
The ranch is located in the prime area GMU003 better late season than early season for elk but good all seasons for Mule Deer. The ranch is 8000 acres with plenty of room to hunt. The habitat is open pastures, sage brush with cedars on the north slopes. The game animals head for the cedars when pushed or for thermo cover. The deer are everywhere and even thicker on the lower side of the ranch. The deer in here are local and migrants spilling into the lower sage brush flats from the higher Juniper rim country where the elk stay. We have never had a deer hunter go home with a small buck unless he missed when he shot at the first 4 and in frustration shot a small one at 50 yards in frustration. This is the kind of hunt for elk that you want to think about early in the year because it is usually booked up by January 31, I know I have some of the low cost cow hunts filled and some of the bull hunts, let me know what you want and we can go from there. This is also excellent GMU003 Mule Deer hunting, 1 point required to draw for a second season license and 7 for 3rd season.

2nd Season 10/21 - 10/29 $ 2195 per hunter
3rd Season 11/4 - 11/12 $ 2195 per hunter
4th Season 11/15 - 11/19 $ 1595 per hunter is an elk only season - Only 2 slots left
Cow Season 11/26 - 11/30 $ 995 discounted down to only 995 per hunter
All hunting is non-guided and mainly for deer and elk. There are a few antelope but there are better places for antelope than this due to the minimal numbers.
