2004 Prowler Regal Fifth Wheel
A list of things changed/added:
Starting in the bedroom at the back(pictures to come):
-All carpet was removed and high quality Pergo wood flooring installed.
-Bed dismantaled and removed rebuilt for lighter weight that may have been added with floor. (Queen size)
-Tacky, terrible and heavy gold sliding closet doors removed and curtain rod hung for drapes.
-Tacky gold framed bubble glass that was falling apart removed and fashioned a rod to hang a shower curtain.
-New shower head added to increase pressure.
-stained and added pine trim around certain areas to bring a cozy/home/cabin feel.
-Finally Brush painted everything chalk white to really open up the room and make everything look crisp and fresh.
-the bedroom has a ton of storage in the closet as well as drawers and cabinets around the room.
Moving on to the kitchen and entry way:
-first removed all old wood flooring stapled down to sheets of extra wood. Replaced with high quality Pergo wood floor(saving weight in comparison to stuff pulled up)
-stained, cut pine and installed most baseboards and trim including a very cool looking backsplash to stairs headed into living room.
-removed old outdated and tacky slide trim and replaced with clean looking wood strips(to be stained).
-Removed all cabinets and hardware to be spray painted and brush painted all surfaces and nooks with chalk white or light grey which really opened it up and brought a very clean and crisp finish.
-Removed tacky and terribly ugly window trims and installed curtain rods for some solid color or patterned curtains.
-removed everything for the dining area to open up and creat more storage. Also intended to build a rolling island for more prep/cooking space to be tucked away. Havent gotten to it yet, but it would be very easy to add a table and some chairs if you preferred that to my plan.
-theres more storage space in the kitchen than Ive had in all my apartments here so far. A ton of cabinets, a pantry, whatever you add to dining area and a wrap around shelf above everything with a ton of room. My girlfriend and I both cook a lot and she also bakes a ton and the kitchen has worked great for us.
The bathroom is in between the kitchen and the bedroom.
-I installed a new Thetford toilet.
-Painted white and teal.
On to the living area:
-you step up the newly carpeted steps(changed from tacky green to grey)
onto the newly floored surface.
-There are two slides up here so you can open it up or keep it closed and utilize both couches.
-the couches are newly apolstered, but I have some blankets over them for comfort. They were apolstered to match the previous interior.
-I painted my own would table and placed in the center but you can always romive that and replace with something smaller. We tend to be pretty active outside so we have misc. toys in here, but they dont clutter the space too badly. So it works if you have the same life style or you will have a ton of extra room compared to us! We fit multiple bikes in here, some climbing gear and my golf clubs.
-Everythig in here was painted as well.
-Slides trim replaced
-Mounting bracket and surface fashioned to mount a 50 tv. This created some more closed storage behind it with the capability of opening on a couple hinges. This could be removed to stick a tv inside like it originally was.
-Also made room and on of the cabinets near the floor to place a subwoofer for the tvs sound system.
Outside:
-A ton of underneath storage.
-at the front there is a giant compartment accessible from either side of the trailer as well as straight in from the front. I keep snowboarding and camping gear as well as a plastic container full of anything extra my girlfriend couldnt part with. Its all very easily accessible.
-on both sides of trailer there is a propane tank, which runs the water heater and stove and heater.
-theres another compartment I keep supplies like paint, oil, and misc materials.
-at the rear another compartment stores all tools.
-Everything is lockable although most these places have security cameras and neighbors who have the same set up and want their stuff safe too.
-the decals are peeling off, and I havent gotten around to removing them, but the exterior fiberglass is in great condition when clean.
-all seal and seams up top are in good condition. I check regularly to catch anything before it is a problem, and I found one towards the from cracking and peeled it up to where it needed to be and coated it and repaired. No issues with all the rain this year.
Tires are relatively new (few years since purchase) trailer has been towed three or four times since purchase.
