This is a beautiful Airstream. We have chosen to highlight the visual flaws in the photos in order to make sure potential buyers are fully aware of the details, instead of trying to glamorize it. The parts not shown or mentioned are in good condition as far as we know. This has always been a non-smoking, well cared for, clean kept Airstream. It has been stored and has not been used since May of 2015. The outside has normal dust build up from not being washed. It will clean up beautifully.
It had new carpet installed, and new curtains custom made about 12 years ago. I am not sure if the curtains can be cleaned but they were made with good quality material. They have noticeable stains in places as shown in the photos and the elastic is loosening. The carpet looks very nice with a couple of small light stains by the door, and the noticeable stain shown around the toilet. I am not sure if the stain can be removed or not. The hand held hose by the toilet drips which lead to the staining. The toilet itself works great and the clean out etc. all were operational as of May 2015.
The refrigerator was replaced about 8 years ago. It still looks new except the little rust marks in the edges of the wire racks inside as shown in the photo. The air conditioner is original and still worked great as of May 2015. The water pump was replaced at some point and works, but there is possibly an air leak in the line somewhere because the flow of water is slow.
The couches are all in great shape comfort wise and visually, except a tiny spot where some glue is on the back surface of the front couch. All couches were reupholstered 12 years ago with super high quality fabric which still looks new. The front couch mechanism that converts it to a double bed also needs to be repaired before it can be used. The backs of the two couches in the rear of the trailer lift up to be come bunks, so the trailer can sleep four adults and two children. The bunks need to be looked at for safety if they are going to be used to sleep on. The spot they hang from looks like it could use some reinforcement. The bunks have been used as a place to put blankets etc. while the lower bed part was used to sleep, and are fine for this purpose.
The table folds out to either half or full and works great. The cabinets throughout this trailer (lots of storage!) all are in good working order except the slider under the sink is very stiff, and the long panel door for the cabinet along the floor in the kitchen works, but is out of alignment. The stove works great, but has rust forming on the surface. It is still solid underneath. It can be made to look nicer but was left as is after sitting for two years for the photo. I believe it can be replaced but if you are concerned it would be worth checking on first. The wall paper throughout the Airstream is very durable and in good shape except where it needs to be reapplied in places where is has fallen loose as shown in the photos. The counters in the bathroom and tub are discolored in places, as shown in the photos.
The outside of the trailer is in good shape except the top dent that was added in the last tropical storm this past fall. It is not evident from the inside of the trailer. There is peeling and missing trim in various spots but the shell itself is fine. The front door is stiff and needs some attention to get it working smooth and properly.
Three of the tires need to be replaced BEFORE it can be moved. I have the original manuals, pick up receipt, and a couple of advertisements that go with it.
