Great for watching movies or sports events. Works indoors or outdoors. I have refurbished it, and installed a low hours lamp to get a clear, bright, colorful picture. Epson is the #1 projector maker in the world, so there is no need to settle for a no name brand. This projector comes with remote control, power cord, VGA-XGA video cable, & user manual. An optional ($40 retail) HDMI adapter is available for only $15 with purchase of the projector. I also offer a 30 day warranty. Before you purchase a used projector, you should come check this one out on the big screen in my office.

Here are some things to consider when purchasing a projector:

► Buy only a name brand projector. Epson is the #1 brand in the world.
► Dont buy a projector more than 5 or 6 years old. If it breaks, or the lamp goes out, you might not be able to get it fixed. The Epson 83 is a 2011-2012 model.
► Buy from someone who knows projectors. I have been repairing and refurbishing projectors for 5 years.
► Dont buy a projector without seeing it in person on a big screen. I have several large home theater screens in my shop.
► Make sure you get a remote control. Projectors can be hard to operate from the front panel, especially if you plan to suspend it from the ceiling.
► Specs can be deceptive and misleading. Judge the picture for yourself in person on the big screen. If it doesnt have a good picture, its not a bargain at any price.
► Do you your research at ProjectorCentral.com . This is the best site on the internet to do projector research. If the projector you are considering is not listed on this site #BuyerBeware. There are a lot of #HomeTheaterScams out there. Be a smart buyer.
