Epiphone Valve Junior Hot Rod Head And 1x12 Cab


⭕ Near the end of Epiphones Valve series of amps, they produced this Valve Jr. Hot Rod head. It was a very short lived amp as the whole series was discontinued shortly after. These dont spring up very often, but more info can be found online! If youre looking for a simple tube head with a bit more flexibility than the single knob Valve Jr, heres the amp youre looking for!

Epiphones modifications include:
-An extra 12AX7
-Spring reverb
-Gain knob
-Standby switch

Head and cab are in good shape, usual wear and tear. Used but not abused. Sounds great. The only modification I have done is I replaced one of the 12AX7s with a 12AT7 for a bit less gain. Can replace swap it back for another 12AX7 is you include an extra $10 for me to buy a new tube. There is definitely still life left in the tubes (no microphonics, no weird noises or issues, volume is still strong) but they are several years old, so I would not be surprised if they needed replacing after another 50-100 or so hours of use.

Willing to sell them seperate. $225 for the head and $125 for the cab, or $325 for both. Will include a speaker cable if you purchase them both together.
