1964 Drums Made By Pearl - Early Collectors Set.


⭕ Before selling drums in the U.S. under their own name, Pearl manufactured drums for various U.S. importers. This set was imported from Pearl by David Wexler in Chicago and sold under the name Whitehall. The set currently consists of:

8x12, 9x13, 14x14, and 16x16 toms.
Two 14x20 bass drums.
5x14 snare.
Five Pearl cymbals (CX-300s added in the late 70s): Two 14, Two 18, One 20.
Hi-hat cymbals are 14 Zildjian Scimitars.
All stands and hardware is included.
I can send you many detailed pictures upon request.

Notes about the set:
Drum shells are made of Luan Mahogany which is exceptionally rare.
All new Attack single ply medium heads are on the drums.
Original double tom stand was replaced with a Ludwig stand in the 70s
One cymbal stand is 60s vintage Slingerland, and one cymbal stand is 60s vintage Camco.
All other hardware is original and included.
Original rail consolette tom holders are included.
Original bass drum pedals are included, but not working. All parts are included if you are mechanically inclined.
Several of the original heads are included (Pearl made the hoops with phenolic).
Pear was imitating Slingerland drums of the day (except for the hoops), and the hardware count and appearance looks very close to Slingerland.
There is a little fading in the wrap.
