100 Year Old Saxophone- King Authentic & Original


⭕ For Sale: a 100 year old King Sax made by the H.N. White Co. in Cleveland , Ohio. It was a gift from my father many years ago. The instrument appears to be silver plated and does not seem to have any dents or other damage. It is cradled in its original form-fitted case which appears to be leather covered and is lined in heavy, deep purple velvet. The instrument has the patina of having been actively played in its day, and seems to be intact and fully functional and playable. It is marked Low Pitch with a 41824 serial number (1915-1917 range). It has its original leather strap as well. As far as I can tell, nothing has been altered, except for the cases carry handle. The cases handle was replaced a very long time ago, with a nicely-made hand woven handle made of heavy cord, probably by its original owner. The case has an accessories compartment, which is filled with what seem to be the original accessories, including 1 reed. The Sax is a C Melody and is nicely engraved KING, underneath which H.N. White Co. and CLEVELD O are engraved. I am interested in selling it, and it would be nice to see it go to a curator or connoisseur. I will provide more detailed photos on request.
