YAMAHA XS 650 BOBBER PROJECT


⭕ MUST SELL! 1980 xs 650. I started this project a few years ago and just do not have time for it. Before I tore into it and took a summer driving it around in its stock condition. Started up great with one or two kicks. There are two issues with it one the charging system on these bikes are known for being troublesome. I would just have to charge up the battery before I went out (never died on the road) they make aftermarket systems that are reasonably priced. The second thing is that it would occasionally slip out of 2nd gear. So that disc should be replaced, also cheap and fairly easy to do. I chopped the seat portion of the frame and put a drop seat kit on to get more of a raked look. Comes with an old H.D. p-nut tank, new rear fender blank, new burly brand slammer 10.5 shocks, new tires that have never touched pavement, new fork bearings, and a new set of ape hangers. I kept all the original parts, you could sell on ebay pretty easily or use. Tank, both front and rear fenders, seat, sissy bar ect.
