Heald Super Trike SST-16 16hp W/Forward-Neutral-Reverse-Very Rare


⭕ This bike is a beautiful, classic barn find, I put a little bit of gas in the carburetor and the engine fired right up with the rope start and ran strong, I dont know if the electric start works, but I was told that it did, but there is no battery in it to try it out. I am selling this bike as is, as a project, because I have never driven it, but it appears to be all there. The bike has the original 16hp Briggs and Stratton 16hp electric start engine that came with it, when it was purchased in the late 70s-80s. If you do your homework on this Heald Super Tryke SST-16, you will find that it is very rare to come across one of these that was ordered with the forward, neutral and reverse transmission, most of them just had the torque converter set up. It will need a new belt for the torque converter and the front tire has a leak. Whomever ends up purchasing this beauty, should take the engine off, sand blast the frame, repaint it and restore this classic properly and you will have one heck of a rare trike. I was told that these bikes are street legal, but you would have to do some research on it to find out. It would make one heck of a father and son project over the winter months. Sorry, I am not coming down on the price, I will keep it and restore it myself, if I can ever find the time, before I sell it for any less.
