Handmade Vintage Diamond Open Flower Petal Ring With Rubies 14K Gold
Theres something special about handmade jewelry and within that realm there are varying degrees of personal expression and dedication so once in a while you come across a piece that truly stands out as something special and heartfelt. This ring is one of those pieces. The right hand ring is obviously one of a kind and most likely crafted in the 1930s and inspired by the Art Nouveau movement. Its crafted of solid 14kt yellow gold and inscribed by hand on the interior shank the designers insignia and 14K. The ring is an blossoming flower motif which is extremely detailed and textured featuring round full cut diamonds along the exterior petals, round natural rubies on the interior petals and an old mine cut diamond as the centerpiece. Its truly remarkable the effect this puts off as the light behind the rubies allows you to see a variety of purplish and pinkish red and violets. There is one emerald cut amethyst encrusted amongst the rubies as either a ruby was missing and the jeweler simply replaced it with what fits, or possibly theres another hidden meaning within this. Its hard to say, but what is easy to say is that this handmade piece is absolutely breathtaking in person. It weighs 16.6 grams and rises above your finger 5/8 and its ring face measures 7/8 north and south and 7/8 east and west. Its in spectacular condition.
