Handraised-Barred Rock & Rhode Island Red Laying Hens-LAYING NOW


⭕ I have 3 Barred Rock and 4 Rhode Island Red Laying Hens looking for a home. I simply am downsizing because Im so busy, they are awesome, healthy hens. Hand-Raised from young chicks, beautiful birds, just coming into their laying peak. They molted last fall, they all have beautiful plumage and are gorgeous right now. These girls have great personalities. They ARENT used up and spent out red hens that are a dime a dozen right now!! These girls are laying large brown eggs, used to my other animals and are used to free ranging and being fed high quality layer feed. They are 14 months old, and their eggs are HUGE and they are good steady layers. They have been fed Organic Non-GMO feed their first 5 months of life, and are used to having the full run of the farm and pasture, going on their own back into their coop at night. You wont find nicer, healthier birds. Asking $15 each, which is more than fair for a hen that has been raised in this superior environment.

Located about 20 minutes from Springfield, off Hwy 65. 10 minutes from Fair Grove, or 15 minutes from Marshfield. Call me if you would be interested. Can sell 1 or all. If you take a big group of them, Ill throw in a free Barred Rock rooster that I hand raised this summer, he a gentle rooster around people and not aggressive, and protects the hens. He loves his girls and Id like him to go with them if he can, but if you cant have a rooster I understand.
