Here is an excellent Musical Fidelity KW 250S that has been upgraded by the best in the business....Parts Connexion. Parts Connexion is known world-wide as the authority of audiophile parts and modifications.

I am only selling this Unit do to the fact that I recently damage my hearing in one ear and cannot justify keeping such a musical piece of equipment when I cannot hear all the value I put into this piece. My loss will be somebodys fortunate gain.

In addition, Volume control automatic rise has been known to be a common problem in the KW250S models and this piece has had the upgrade to fix that problem with parts provided by Musical Fidelity and installed by Parts Connecxion, along with an updated CD laser.

This all-in-one component can do it all! It has a built-in CD Player, FM Tuner, Phono Stage (MM, MC), DAC, and obviously it is Integrated Amplifier boasting 250WPC.

It is physically in great condition - no visible scratches or blemishes. It is in fully functional condition.

To put it simply the KW250S is a cd receiver. In addition to playing CDs using the built in player and listening to radio stations via DAB/FM tuner< there are optical and coaxial inputs and outputs available. also the front is equipped with a 3.5 mini jack.
this unit is composed of existing components from the KW and A5 series with the S in the title standing for the abbreviation of Six< the number of components that this single device unites.
Cd playback is basically an A5 cd player, The DAC is a 24 bit Delta Sigma (Bit Stream) converter with up sampling to 192khz. The transport mechanism is available from Phillips. DAB/FM tuner is also from the A5 series. The Amplification is carried out by two 250 Watt mono blocks. The circuits are Identical to the power amplifer section of the KW500 only none-bridge so that power decreases to 2x250 wpc. The preamp section uses 2X 6922 tubes.
