US Model 1850 Infantry Officer Sword


⭕ I have a reproduction US Model 1850 Infantry Officer Sword. The plain straight blade is approximately 32 long with a 2 1/2 false edge. Outside of the brass guard is pierced in a decorative manner. Laurel sprigs adorn the edge of the brass pommel which is held to grip with a brass nut. Grips are leather wrapped with twisted brass wire. Overall length is about 38. Metal scabbard has two bands with carry rings and drag. There is a matching steel scabbard with steel mounts, drag and throat piece. This is not a flimsy piece of junk. Its made in India but a sturdy and strong import. Its a good quality sword for wear or display. It does have marking that says made in India. I have seen these go for $275 dollars and higher. Im only asking for $100 dollars. These are the best of this model currently made & are getting very hard to find I think. I will not ship. I do not need help selling. Be local or drive to pickup.
