Russian Dolls


⭕ This 21.65 Russian doll is made by artist Galina Maslennikova, reported to be one of the most famous Moscow artists of doll design. She has on a beautiful hand sewn embroidery and fur like winter coat. She also has a string on her back for hanging. She is in excellent condition with original tags and description attached. The other doll is a rolly polly bell doll called Nevalyazhka, or Vanka-Vstanka in Russia. She appears to be a village woman in traditional Russian dress. She has a bell inside that makes sound if you touch or play with the doll. It is hand painted and signed, and also in very good condition. Included in this grouping are two black lacquered boxes. The smaller is 2 in diameter and the larger @ 4 1/2. The shawl or wrap that they are shown sitting on is also included. All can be sold individually or as one unit.
