Amazon Fire Phone (Unlocked)
Ive installed Cyanogenmod 11 (now called Lineage) with the most recent update (mid-January) and it seems to be very stable. I believe the original Fire OS could be re-installed if desired although I had a few issues with apps that would either not install or run correctly. Most apps installed and ran fine but there were just enough that it was annoying. NOTE: I never tried sideloading any of the apps that I could not install thru the Google Play Store. The original Fire OS may or may not get any more updates so I recommend sticking with Lineage OS but if there are any more updates to the Fire OS then it might be beneficial to go back to the stock OS.
I used this phone for about 4-5 months last year before switching to a Verizon phone. It has mostly been unused for the past 9-10 months until I got it out recently and installed the cyanogenmod OS. If you do not know what that is, it is essentially the pure android OS that has been ported to many devices including this one. You can google search for cyanogenmod 11 amazon fire phone and read the details. The stock camera app does not work with the new OS but a downloaded camera app works just fine. I used it this morning (2/20/2017) to take some photos to send to my contractor.
The phone comes with a protective case. The case has a combination belt clip & kickstand that is broken but that is a separate piece that does not affect the protective part of the case.
