2003 Chevrolet Malibu LS - Cars & Trucks - By Owner - Vehicle Automotive Sale


⭕ 2003 Chevy Malibu LS (gold) with just over 222000 miles. The interior is excellent, has snow tires on it now (and an extra set of 4 good All Season tires), new stereo with bluetooth and AUX input, always had its maintenance and no car accidents. The speakers sound great and it has been fun the last few months to enjoy the new Pioneer bluetooth/MP3/AUX stereo I had installed. Works with your phone, and microphone installed above the rear-view mirror makes the calls sound great! Exterior has some scuffs and scrapes, as you can see in the pictures. No huge blemishes, and still looks pretty good overall.
For the first time yesterday it started hesitating at a stop light, like every 6 seconds kind of stuttering. So I took it to my shop and they found that a cylinder was misfiring and a compression test showed cylinder 5 was low. They said they could fix it but Id rather get a newer car. It still runs fine, except for that hesitation thing at stoplights. Im sure theres someone out there who can fix it on their own for less money, and can enjoy it for years to come. Its done me well for about 13 years - I bought it from Sherms store in Ogden in 2004 and it just had 25,000 miles on it.
Kbb value at good condition is $1513, but because of it misfiring Id say its closer to fair condition ($1241). Since the interior is in great shape, new stereo, extra tires, and Ive always kept it tuned up and well-oiled - - -Ill sell it at $1000 (now repriced even lower).
