I purchased this Suburban and it needed some TLC, and I have addressed many things. Im hesitant to sell, but financially it makes sense for us. We have a minivan and got this because of the greater utility. Turns out, we barely drive it. Anyway, rather than sit in the driveway, Im putting it up for sale.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The 8.1L Suburbans are extremely hard to come by, but they are monsters. This one currently sits at 285k miles, but still pulls like a train. I use synthetic oil and it runs great! A/C blows cold and heat works great. I have paper work for everything listed below:
REPAIRS:
- repaired hydrobooster
- replaced A/C Compressor and lines
- ABS Module repaired
INTERIOR & EXTERIOR UPGRADES:
- tints
- new head unit with backup camera and DVD player
- viper remote start
DRIVETRAIN & SUSPENSION UPGRADES:
- 4 new bilstein 5100 shocks (air ride delete)
CONS:
- Some cosmetic issues (wearing leather, some dents and dings, etc)
- There is a small leak of power steering fluid.
- Do your research, mpg is pretty bad, but its a bg block v8 that will haul the earth and you wont have crazy diesel repair costs to worry about.
WHAT WILL I SELL FOR:
-Im a bit negotiable on price, but these are hard to come by, especially in decent running shape.
-Im willing to trade too! Worst I can say is no!
