Advertising Space Available at the corner of Gateway Drive / Highway 2 in Grand Forks and N. Washington Street in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This sensor driven illuminated bill board space is a very large size at 12 x 24 and rents for $400 mo. You are responsible for the cost associated with installation of your bill board sign, but the landlord will pay for the lighting electric expense. This bill board faces South and will capture traffic heading North on Washington Street -- and most of that traffic will turn onto Gateway Drive & US Highway 2 heading East or West once they pass the Billboard (heading North). Gateway Drive & US Highway 2 and N. Washington Street is massively busy and the below news article says northbound Washington Street sees 30,810 vehicles each day. From what I can gather that is one of the busiest streets in Fargo and/or Grand Forks with the likely exception of I 29 or US 94. This location is better because the traffic is moving slower when approaching this billboard and Washington Street drives straight into the billboard then curves slightly left after the billboard -- the billboard is eye level while driving (heading straight into it) another major benefit for your marketing efforts. It cannot be missed heading past it - it is perfect.

According to NDDOTs traffic counts, Washington Street has an average of 24,780 cars heading south each day and 30,810 heading north. DeMers Avenue has an average of 20,470 cars heading east each day and 23,310 heading west. Thats a total of 99,370.
Some of the states other major intersections may have more traffic in some directions, but Haugen reiterated that DeMers and Washington has the highest traffic volume when considering all directions.
For example, the busy intersection of 13th Avenue South and 45th Street in Fargo has an average of 21,885 cars each day heading east on 13th Avenue and 24,055 heading west, with 20,035 cars heading south on 45th Street and 26,780 heading north, according to NDDOT. Thats a total of 92,755.
The intersection of 13th Avenue South and 42nd Street in Fargo has an average of 25,170 cars heading east on 13th Avenue and 27,480 heading west, but only 10,470 cars heading south on 42nd and 15,705 heading north, according to NDDOT. Thats a total of 78,825.
