Vintage Schwinn Parts Buy Sell Trade


⭕ I have to sell or trade:

1 - 27 inch wheelset (front and rear) from 1969 Schwinn Varsity, with brand new tubes and tires. These rims are original and are as rust free as any nearly-50-year-old wheels can be. Chrome is excellent - I have never seen wheels this old this good. Includes 5 speed sprockets. Cassette and rear wheel bearings seem to be perfect. Front wheel bearings a little loose, may need to be turned and tightened.

Above is $50, and includes $50 worth of tubes and tires, its like getting this original wheel set for free!

1 - original 1969 Varsity seat and seat stem - this is the imitation Brooks seat, heavy plastic with springs underneath, made to look as much as possible like the classic Brooks, but fake and bearing good condition Schwinn brand name on back

So - I have the parts to put your old Schwinn Varsity or Collegiate frame back into to its original configuration or to make a tourist style bike into a road style bike.

Im doing the opposite - Id like to make a tourist style 3 speed coaster brake bike.

Im looking for trades on mens Varsity, Collegiate, Suburban, Traveler, or other Chicago Schwinn diamond style frame with fork and steering tube bearings intact... handlebar stem if available. Prefer to also have crank intact, Id like a 5 speed crank better than 10 speed crank.

So, lets say a Schwinn 3 speed or 5 speed mens frame would be best for my use. (Im putting a 26 inch 3 speed coaster brake wheelset on the frame.)

Ill swap all of the above parts for one decent mens frame, preferably medium size and interesting color but beggars cant be choosers, let me know what youve got!
