⭕ It is with great regret that I have decided to part ways with my old Motebecane, affectionately known as Fugly.
She is not a pretty bike by anyones reckoning, but she is solid and steady and always up for a ride. Shes covered in dings and scratches, and you will never have to worry about someone stealing her away from you.

This has been my beater for the last few years, often receiving hand-me-down parts. You will probably want to replace the seat and the grips, but she rides great as-is (the seat is actually comfortable, just - like the rest of her - ugly). I recently replaced the disc brakes. More recently, I had the derailleur hanger and rear shifter cable replaced. The rear brake cable probably needs to be replaced soon. Tires are in good shape and have a lot more miles in them.

Despite all the dings and scrapes, there is no rust on the frame. Never had a serious crash on her.

She has a 18 frame (medium); she fit me fine at 6 with the seatpost raised all the way and is probably good for anyone from 56 on up.

Shes a 2006 Motebecane HT 400. The blue book puts her right at $95 - $98. And despite what some disgruntled purchasers here on CL want you to think, no one actually sells bikes at the blue book price - so this is a good deal.
