Scotts Spark 910 is one of the most versatile and adaptable XC and marathon platforms available today. 29 wheel size, and prepare to have the ride of your life. Based off of the same geometry and handling that Nino Schurter and Geoff Kabush ride in World Cup events, the Spark 910 uses the more attainable mixture of HMF carbon main frame and alloy swingarm to keep the cost down and the fun fully pegged.

The Spark 910 benefits from Scotts carbon manufacturing expertise and IMP (Integrated Molding Process) technology. Internal molds and precision carbon layups allow Scotts carbon engineers to kee the weight down, while producing an incredibly stiff frame. With a BB92 bottom bracket and tapered oversized headset (1 1/8 x 1 1/2), pedaling efficiency and steering precision are virtualy unmatched- especially at this price. The alloy swingarm is made from custom tubing that is light, stiff, and durable for added pedaling efficiency. Its pretty much impossible to find another frame with so many performance features at this price and pedigree.

Scotts insanely efficient suspension gets the most out of the wheelsize-100mm for the 29 910- thanks to the very close partnership with Fox. Scott uses the proprietary Fox Nude CTCD rear shock and Fox 32 Float Factory CTD Air fork. Both are mated to Scotts TwinLoc remote that allows you to change the entire suspension feel while on the fly, without ever having to take a hand off the bar. Fox has a well-earned reputation for lightweight and durable suspension, and when combined with Scotts TwinLoc, you never have to worry about what the trail might throw your way. For even more suspension tuning, Scotts shock linkage has a reversable chip that allows you to adjust bottom bracket height when things get burly on the trail.

Shimanos XT group handles the drivetrain, as well as the braking. The 38/24 crankset and 11-36 cassette make sure you have the right gear, regardless of the trail conditions. And thanks to the legendary performance of the XT shifting, youll always be able to get the most out of that wide range of gears. When things need to cool down a little, the XT brakes with 180mm front and 160mm rear Icetech rotors will handle the job every time. Stop on a dime, and get nine cents change! Ride more, tinker less.

The legendary MTB component brand Syncros provides a host of reliable and lightweight parts. The FL1.5 alloy flat bar and XR1.5 alloy stem and both light and durable, providing you secure control at all times. Youll be comfortable aboard the XR1.5 saddle with titanium rails, which are held tightly by the FL1.5 seatpost. Schwalbe Rocket Ron EVO tubeless easy tires are mounted to the Syncros tubeless ready XR2.0 alloy wheels. The hubs are made by DT Swiss, and are laced into the Syncros rims with DT Swiss Competition double butted spokes. That means you can ride the gnarliest rock gardens while bombing descents without ever wondering if your wheels will survive. They will.
