Kombucha SCOBY (mother), Sourdough Starter, Kefir Grains


⭕ Hi there!
I have been brewing, fermenting, and baking with these magical beasties for 3 years now, and have exhausted my abilities to find creative ways to use the excess starters I find myself with. I would love to pass some along to you! Here are the details on what I have available - please feel free to email me if I do not address your questions below.

1) Komubucha SCOBY or mother (with some starter liquid) - I have gorgeous Kombucha mothers multiplying faster than I can use them in my 1 gallon crocks! They are accustomed to organic tea and sugar, but really are not picky. I have been known to alternate between green and black teas, different types of sugars, experimented with adding herbs, ginger...even hot peppers! And my girls never complain. In fact, I find them darn near impossible to kill. These are great mothers! $5 each

2) Milk Kefir grains - I use only organic, grass fed milk, and again, I find these grains multiplying faster than I can use them! I have dehydrated some, but this is time consuming and I have never managed to kill my grains so I just end up with a ton of extra. Would you like to try making Kefir at home? It couldnt be easier! These grains do take a little longer to multiply, so they are $10 for 1/8 cup (about the amount you see in the photo - this is plenty to get you started)

3) Sourdough starter - I use filtered water and organic flours, and make the most killer sourdough pizza recipe ever - I will give you a copy with your starter! $5 for 1/2 cup

Since this is new for me, as of now I am assuming you know what youre doing and how to use each of these bacterial kitchen helpers. I would be open to sharing my experience and techniques, but am unsure how to go about it so for now, I kindly direct you to the wealth of knowledge that is the world wide web.
