To me this is a very well engineered Classic Analog Audio Mixing Console with a great sounding spring reverb that will do well with the person who wants the traditional large desk audio mixing experience for stage, bar, club venue, band practice or even recording with a little care and attention given to this console.
I will share that it basically works and passes signal fine. The main problems are going to be noise related control issues from just lack of use as you might imagine with an older audio mixing desk like this. For the person who wants a large professional grade audio mixer in a ready-to-go flight case and does not want to play around with many toy feeling little mixers, I have probably just made your day as this is the real deal that has been on tour with numerous acts and has now Rock and Rolled literally generations in comparison to todays Jr. wanna-be mixers that most people have been migrating toward.
This unit is of course road worn with plenty of warm character that comes with it. For its age and the hardware on the case is in good condition as all locks work properly. For someone who has a little time and can use some contact cleaner on the controls and a little TLC, this Mixer could quickly be ready to roar on the stage or studio of your choice with its famous Classic Peavey Southern Sound for the next person who can put this Mixer to work with your own brand of Rock and Roll!
This particular Mixer is the real deal and total Rock and Roll Special. If you are a band or a bar and looking for a bargain console, jump on this one quick as I have it priced to sell! If you are looking for serious Rock and Roll Mixer that will do what these Peavey Mixers are Most Famous For! Then this one should make your day at a price you just cant touch most places today. This unit would probably cost more to ship anywhere that I am asking for the whole unit as large and heavy as this thing is. This console measures 50x29 inches in the case and is quite heavy to move. Of course seller will bring this to you with your purchase of this mixer.
These mixers have become a bit rare from all I see and I feel I have this mixing desk priced very low compared to what many sell these for and for the fact that I will meet up locally to deliver this to you versus trying to ship more delicate mixers which are often damaged in shipping. I dont think this will one will be up long as I think I am offering a variety of options to make this attractive to many that might need it. I really no longer have a need a need for it so this seller is ready to deal!
We can work out a nice trade that is good for both of us or you can buy it straight cash and being that I play around with stuff like this a bit myself and I am always moving stuff around. Seller will also consider the possibility of a gear trade-in on this mix desk in taking in a 4x12 cabinet, another type of amp or amp head either tube or solid state that you might have around, an electric guitar such as les paul type, Keyboard, PA or Music Gear you have been trying to get rid yourself as seller is very flexible and if you have something I can use, I am happy to deal on this amp. I realize as many that cash can be very tight in this current economy. If you have gear you did not use or have any use for. I have just shown you another way to get your hands on this really nice clean amp at a price you could never have imagined possible previously as it has been sitting now for sometime.
You can buy it straight cash for $400.00 or maybe a little less if you do not want the flight case as this case alone can be used with numerous mixers. A club or stage venue might not need the case, this is a another option to save yourself some cash in this economy as I can certainly appreciate myself.
