Unique Folk Art Style Lamp Fixture With Nautical Theme


⭕ This item is a five (5) bulb hanging light fixture that was purchased at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival about six or seven years ago by a family member. The light fixture was put away / stored and was never installed. It was given to me when they were clearing out their house for an out-of-state move. This light fixture was still wrapped in the same bubble wrap as when it was purchased and then stored away. I was told that they paid around $300.00 for it when purchased from the artist that created it.

I removed the bubble wrap, added light bulbs to the fixtures, and hung it off of a hook in my warehouse for the purpose of taking the attached pictures.

This light fixture measures 63 long. It has a (strong) rope as hanging mechanism. This fixture looks more like a Folk Art idea more than anything else. I believe that metal crabbing buckets were used, five of them in total, as the light fixtures. The largest bucket (handle) when extending downwards, measures approximately 15 to 17 (see pictures). The light fixture is pretty neat and would make an ideal light fixture for a nautical (fishing or diving) themed bar or restaurant, or to hang in a patio area or indoors if so desired, at a persons house in Key West or anywhere else. It has that antique / vintage look to it. This fixture is exactly as it was when purchased by my relative. It has an aged look to it and came already wired. When I hung it up for the purpose of the attached pictures, all I had to do was to add some light bulbs and plug it in. It currently has a plug at the end of the wiring. It will plug directly into an outlet. You can also cut off the plug and wire it directly to an overhead light fixture outlet controlled by a switch.
