Railroad Fixed Signal Sign, Heavy Cast Iron, SEC 13/14 - $110


⭕ Train Locomotive Sign , I dont know anything about it, came from a railroad collectors estate, you can make out some of the old letters / numbers, , Someone thought it was a old cast iron section sign that would be posted along the tracks, sort of like mile markers so if there was an issue with the tracks the engineer could report the area that need work. If you look close there is Sec 13, on one side and Sec 14 on the other side , a web site on net says they are Fixed Signal Signs used for other purposes as well such as also used for upcoming station identification, mile post, speed control, etc, it is heavy cast iron sign 1 inch thick and 21 long, weighs around 36 pounds, here is link to web site on fixed signals http://www.alaskarails.org/terminology/signs/track-signs.html Thanks t
