BAYONET COLLECTION FOR SALE: World War II German 98k Mauser Rifle Bayonets
Please note: The 14 vintage bayonets in this collection (74 to 82 year old) are for sale only as a group, and only to a collector; not to a re-seller. The individual descriptions of these bayonets are listed below in numerical order, and correspond to the numerical order of the individual bayonets in the numbered photographs. These bayonets are not sharpened; rusted; or otherwise damaged. None of their grips are cracked or chipped. All of them are military contract; not commercial. The makers and serial numbers of the bayonets in photos 1 through 12 match those of their scabbards; the makers and serial numbers of the remaining two bayonets (in photos # 13 and 14) do not match those on their scabbards.

1. 1940 E.u.F. Horster; Unissued Condition; WaA88; serial #2424r; Bakelite Grips; Matching Scabbard; scabbard is also marked with maker name; with 1940 dated frog; $325.00

S/173G (G signifies a date of 1935); Blade is excellent; marked with: Eagle?82(illegible) double stamped on Grip and Scabbard Tip; serial #2958; Wooden Grips have a few very minor blemishes; Matching Scabbard; scabbard finish shows wear, probably from use, including wear from scabbard movement in frog; Frog is marked: Frog marked: 1936 Roder & Co.; RARE MAKER; PRE-WAR Mfg. $350.00?

3. 1937 E.u.F. Horster; Blade is excellent; WaA253?(illegible); serial #6492m; Wooden Grips are clean; Matching Scabbard; scabbard is VG but shows some general finish wear, probably from use, including wear from scabbard movement in frog; Frog is dated 1938; PRE-WAR Mfg. $350.00

4. 1937 Elite Diamant; Blade finish is excellent with very minor in/out wear; marked with Eagle 319?(illegible); serial #6436c; Wooden Grips are VG; Matching Scabbard; Scabbard finish is VG but shows some wear from scabbard movement in frog; frog is marked: RBNR 0/0633/0041;
